Law 25 — Protection of personal information

What we do with your information

Privada Solution inc. collects as little personal information as possible and uses it only to respond to your request. This policy explains, in plain language, what we collect on this site, why, who we share it with and what your rights are, in accordance with Quebec’s Act respecting the protection of personal information in the private sector (Law 25).

It applies to the website privadasolution.com. Information collected during an investigation mandate is governed by the service agreement, the agency permit and the applicable laws.

The information we collect

Quote request and job application forms: name, phone, email, company if applicable, and the details you choose to write. Only include what is needed to understand your request; the specifics are discussed by phone.

Technical data: the server hosting the site records the IP address, browser and pages visited in its security logs, for a limited time.

Emails and calls: what you send us to handle your file.

Why we use it

To answer your quote request, schedule a first conversation and send you a proposal.

To review a job application.

To keep the site secure and meet our legal obligations.

With your consent only: to measure site traffic. We never sell or rent your information and send no newsletter without your agreement.

Cookies and trackers

The site works without advertising cookies. By default, a single item is stored in your browser: your choice on the consent banner, kept for six months.

Audience measurement tools (Google Analytics) are only activated after you click “Accept” on the banner. You can refuse with no impact on your browsing and change your mind at any time via the “Manage cookies” link at the bottom of every page.

Who we share it with

Our hosting provider (WHC, servers in Canada), to run the site and deliver the forms.

Google (web fonts and, if you accept, audience measurement). These services may process data outside Quebec; we choose providers offering equivalent protection.

We do not disclose your information to any other third party unless required by law.

Retention and security

Requests received through the site are kept as long as needed to respond and, if a mandate follows, for the applicable legal periods, then securely deleted.

The site is served over HTTPS and administrative access is limited to authorized people. In the event of a confidentiality incident presenting a risk of serious injury, we notify the Commission d’accès à l’information and the people concerned, as required by law.

Your rights

At any time, you may: request access to the information we hold about you; have it corrected; withdraw your consent; ask for its deletion where the law allows; and obtain explanations about its use.

Write to us at the address shown here. We reply within 30 days.

Complaints

If you believe your rights have not been respected, you may file a complaint with the Commission d’accès à l’information du Québec (cai.gouv.qc.ca).
